In our gathering on June 24, 2021, we were fortunate enough to have Antoni Paleshi P.Eng., M.A.Sc as our guest speaker. Antoni is Senior Energy Performance Specialist, Sustainability & Energy at WSP and one of this country’s top zero-carbon experts.
His talk takes us through a basic understanding of carbon production, the ways the planet naturally deals with carbon, how we’ve gotten our planet into this crazy climate crisis, and most importantly, the options for drawing carbon out of the atmosphere, sequestering carbon, and building sustainably.
This was an excellent presentation of the science behind building zero-carbon and the reasons we need to do it now.
